Next week, I’m going to see one of my new favorite bands in concert: Passion Pit. I’m so in love with them! Anyway, I was perusing the interwebs for new remixes or new anything because I absolutely can’t get enough. I stumbled upon this video.
While watching this video, I realized how incredibly lucky we all are to be living in this age. The internet is such a powerful tool, not only for music but for everything. I mean, think about how long you would have to wait to get a rare track from an artist. You’d have to wait until they released their B-sides as a whole other album. Or fly to the UK to acquire the UK version that may have an extra song. Now, bands can record on the back of their tour bus and have the song released unto the world in a matter of hours. It’s amazing how Passion Pit (or whoever made this video) can just mash up several of their songs and videos into one visual/aural masterpiece and just have it ready for the world in the blink of an eye.
Consider yourselves lucky, my friends. We have it so easy.
