Fading in like the opening credits of a bad 70’s show (for some reason I picture police officers/detectives), Hot Sugar’s “F**kable” instantly grasps your attention. Mixing elements of funk, soul and electro-pop, “F**kable” is the perfect track to have blasting at the height of your party. What makes this track interesting is that Nick Koenig (aka Hot Sugar) uses every day noises to create his beats. They may sound like a normal beat machine, but Koenig records these every day sounds and digitizes, chops, stretches and transforms them to make a beat-tastic track like “F**kable.”
Check out this great video of Hot Sugar creating beats in his apartment.
