Editorial- Ringo Starr

While listening to the Enter the Shell Show assignment help last week, I heard something disturbing.  Dr. Justin actually said that Ringo Starr had no talent!  What?  Now, I must admit, Ringo was the least talented of the quartet, but to say he had no talent is going too far!

Ringo Starr, as we all know by now, was the drummer for arguably one of the greatest bands ever, The Beatles.  According the Sir Paul McCartney, Ringo never missed a beat, and while recording, the band never had to stop due to a Ringo error.  That may be an “Urban Legend,” according to Justin, but the fact that Paul would say that goes to show his great respect for the man.

Aside from his studio exploits, Ringo sang on what is arguably one of the most well-known songs:  The Yellow Submarine.  We all know the words:

In the Town

Where I Was Born

Lived a Man

Who Sailed to Sea

And He Told Us of His Life

In The Land of Submarines….

We All Live In A Yellow Submarine

Yellow Submarine

Yellow Submarine

That is some classic stuff right there.  That was not the only track Ringo sang on.   He also sang  : With a Little Help From My Friends & The Octopus’ Garden.  Like I said before, he wasn’t the best Beatle, but his contributions to the band and pop culture can’t be ignored.  After all:  It’s Ringo Baby!
