The New Brighton EP is Said the Whale’s the first new music since 2009’s acclaimed full-length, Islands Disappear, and will be released on November 8th on Hidden Pony Records. The 4-track digital EP was recorded this summer in addition to the album recording sessions at Blue Wave and Vertical Studios in Vancouver with longtime producer, Tom Dobrzanski. The forthcoming full-length album, yet untitled, is being mixed by Jack Joseph Puig, a multiple Grammy Award winner who has worked with Green Day, Klaxons, Weezer and No Doubt and the official album release date has been set for March 6, 2012
